Recomendaciones en el diseño, la ejecución y la publicación de investigaciones en Psicología y ciencias del comportamiento

Las prácticas inadecuadas en la investigación han repercutido en el estatus científico del conocimiento en Psicología y ciencias del comportamiento en general. Este artículo tiene como propósito mostrar algunos mecanismos que podrían ayudar a mejorar el proceso de investigación y la práctica profesional. El artículo se divide en tres secciones: primero, presentamos la Psicología como disciplina científica diferente a la pseudociencia con el fin de examinar y sugerir acciones para mantener este principio científico; segundo, se sugieren algunas recomendaciones en torno a la ejecución de las investigaciones y el proceso necesario de replicación y, tercero, proponemos el proceso de publicación de las investigaciones como mecanismo de autocorrección metodológica y teórica. A modo general, existe una discusión constante, que más allá de realizar cuestionamientosepistemológicos, se refiere a una revisión profunda de principios y prácticas que sustentan los hallazgos derivados de las investigaciones; además, la visión de integración de herramientas tecnológicas superan barreras de acceso al consumo, producción y difusión del conocimiento.References

Los artículos publicados representarán el punto de vista de su autoría y no de la revista, por lo que la autoría asume responsabilidad ante cualquier litigio o reclamación relacionada con derechos de propiedad intelectual y exonera de cualquier responsabilidad a la Revista Costarricense de Psicología y al Colegio.
La revista publicará en cada edición su política de acceso abierto (p.ej., Creative Commons). El material publicado en la revista puede ser copiado, fotocopiado, duplicado y compartido siempre y cuando sea expresamente atribuido al Colegio. El material de la revista no puede ser usado para fines comerciales.
